Hi All,
My employer filed my H1 and my dependent H4 extension together on Feb 1st 2019 and, I received receipt number for H1b extension request whereas, still didnt recieve H4 extension receive number. Upon calling USCIS, they told they are unable to find my spouse extension request and opened a case to inquire further from their end. My employer mentioned, both visa requests was filed together. In this situation, wanted to understand few things.
1) Current Visa is going to expire by March 23, 2019 (i.e. in 10 days), can my dependents continue stay in US though we didnt receive receipt number as application filed together?
2) What is the best approach to walk-in USCIS local office to sort out this issue? If any URL there to block appointment, it would be helpful in this situation.
Kindly suggest appropriately at the earliest?
