US Minors in Ottawa Consulate

I have been trying to get latest information but unable from other sources, hope to get some information here. I am going to Ottawa for our H1/H4 stamping next week and have our 5 month old daughter accompanying us. Obviously we dont know anyone there and was curious if US consulate will allow her inside with us.
Do anyone has any recent experience or have seen accompanying US born kids in the Ottawa consulate?
