Hi,

I need some info regarding the processing dates of H1. My H1 was submitted at VSC on May 12th and I got the receipt number also. But till now the status is not changed and I am hearing that many of the cases from VSC has been transferred to CSC and NSC. I am totally confused about the situation.

Can anybody tell me whats happening?.

Right now, H-1B extensions are taking about 90 days out of the VSC.

Change of status and consular prcoessing H-1Bs are taking about 105 days.

They are still doing any type of H-1B filed in April.

Also, recent information from CIS confirms that about 5,000 H-1B cap cases have been moved from the Vermont Service Center (VSC) to the Texas Service Center (TSC) and about 22,000 I-130s from VSC to the California Service Center (CSC). These moves were implemented in order to to assist VSC move the heavy volume of H-1Bs that came in during the first two months of the filing season. A public information notice is planned.
