  • URGENT-RFE-H1 transfer

    Hi,

I am holding H1 of company A and company B applied for h1 transfer in premium process.I got the reciept no and checked the status in USCIS.
They updated the status as below.

On July 11, 2006, we mailed a notice requesting
additional evidence or information in this case. The
notice explains in detail what additional material is
needed. If you have questions about the notice, what
is required, or if 30 days have passed and you have
not received the notice. Please contact the service
center where you submitted your application during
    business hours.

Attorney is not yet recieved the notice.

Can you please calrify my doubts?
If my case rejected by USCIS
1.Will it be bad history for me?
2.Will it affect any process like H1 extn, transfer further?
If so,can I ask them to withdram my transfer application.

    Thanks for your help.

    youre over thinking it...

Its only 3 days since they mailed the Notice, why not wait until you get it and see exactly what further information is required bu USCIS? The request could simply be for a document............just be patient and wait and see what they want

      Thanks for your reply.

Yes , you are correct. It is too early.I am just curious to know about the issues of the case rejection.I am not very sure how it will affect other processes in future.

Its not a case rejection................just a request for further information. Relax.....youll have 30 days to comply with the request.

RFEs are not uncommon, particularly with H-1B submisisons.

Did you submit recent pay stubs from current H-1B company to show you are still in status? That is probably the most common RFE in your scenario.

          Good luck.

Attorney recieved the notice and they need more information about the employer.I guess, I have to wait for next two to three weeks to know the status.

            Thanks all.
