Getting H4 visa while H1 resigned from company

Please do help me re my dilemma. We are scheduled for an interview at the US Consulate on August 21, 2006. However, the H1 visa holder will be resigning from his current employer. Can we still use his papers with his current employer or should we wait for the papers from company b? please advise. We are hoping that we could join my husband by september. Is it possible also if my husband will just ask permission from the new employer if he could resign after we get our visa which will be soon anyway. Please enlighten me regarding this situation. I dont want to have any hassles re our interview. Thank you very much

H1-Transfer and H-4

I am having the same confusion .. Please help. I am trying to transfer my H1 but I have already applied for H4 for my wife. She has to appear on Nov 20, 2006. Can I change my employer without any issues in H4 visa .

Please Help
