Mistake in filling DS 156

Hi,

This is vignesh from hyderabad.Recently my h1b got approved and took the appointment also.

When i filling DS-156 i made a small mistake.i.e there is an option like 'Have you been to US ever before?

for the above question i didnt check YES box but mentioned when i went and how long i was there.Now i cannot modify DS-156 because i submitted the application to VFS.Now what to do?

Please let me know the corrective action for this.

u can change the form anytime...dont worry go to change/modify the appointment and change the form adn save it....

no need to cancel the appointment just change the form info....

yep, You can do it online itself. Even the worst case you can politely tell this when you meet the couns. and correct it over there. These are not considered as a purposefully wrongful info. So don't worry.

That's true. With US consulate --

If you make mistake, but tell them, whenever you find it -- It was an error.
If you make mistake, and try to hide it -- It was a fraud!
