    Valid H4 visa holder, wanting to apply for H1

    I am a valid H4 visa holder, still in India, but my husband is in US on H1B. I have also applied for H1. My query is that if H1 embassy interview is scheduled sometime in February 2007, can I visit my husband on H4?
    If i am on H4 at US, do I still need to come back to India for H1B embassy interview or it can be scheduled anywhere outside US?
