H4 Renewal

hi my H4 visa expires on 15th dec 2006 i am going to india to get it renewd. following are the details of my query:
1. my address on passport is of new delhi
2. my in laws live in mumabi

so initially my passport got stamped in mumbai but the dates r not available at mumbai consulate so can i apply in new delhi for my visa renewal.

Applicants for visa renewal can go to any consulate.
In the VSF system, select “An Indian citizen resident in the US”
