Got rejected B1 visa twice now applying H1 visa....

Dear All,

I am a software engineer with around 3 yrs of exp.
I was rejected B1 visa last year twice ..on 31st August and 3rd oct -05 .
Now my company has filed a petiotion for H1 visa.

I have got the date of interview on 5th Jan -07.

I got a mail from USCIS saying that
"transferred your I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER to an office in TEXAS SERVICE CENTER" . yesterday i,e on 10th Aug 06.

My questions are...

1. How much time doest it take for getting petetion Approved ?

2. Dates are available in Oct,Nov,Dec months .. I am confused whether to reschedule the date of interview..But Is petetion must be Approved to attend interview ???

3.Within last one year I have got B1 visa rejected twice
How does this going to affect my H1 processing ???

It will take more 10-12 days to get the approval. (mine was the same case)

Yes. u will need the aproved and original I797 to attend the int. I will suggest you to wait till you get the original papers in your hand.

3.Within last one year I have got B1 visa rejected twice How does this going to affect my H1 processing ???
The counceller will surely have the record of ur B1 rejection. It might create some prob in H1 Int. make sure that u have all related docs and clear explanation regarding ur last interviews for B1.
