International Travel on H1 Visa Transfer

I have a valid H1-B visa stamped till Dec 2007 for Company A. Another Company B hired me last month and started the process of my H1 transfer in Regular processing. I received the acknowledgement receipt from USCIS for my transfer process and hence i started working for Comapany B. Can i travel to India before my Transfer visa gets approved since i have valid stamped visa of company A and a receipt of Transfer for company B.

---- At the POE if the immigration officer asks for the company you are working for you have to say company B and then you have to show the approval notice (i-797) for company B.

Although your visa is valid if you do not have the current I-797 you may be subject to deportation. Your receipt is not sufficient for you to enter US despite havinga valid visa

Show the approval notice (i-797) for company B at POE if they ask you.
Even if you have valid stamped visa of company A, your receipt is not sufficient for you to enter US.
