My husband is on L1-visa and I am on L2 visa + EAD. Both of us are having I-94 valid on L1/L2 visa till July 2007. My husband is working for India based company A and I am working for US based company B.
Both my husband and I have got our H1-B visa and Change status approved starting from Oct 2006 through company B. Approved petition is having new I-94 details valid till 2009 included along with it.
Questions:
In case we have start working on H1-B after Oct 2006:
1)Can we start working on H1-B after 1-Oct 2006 without going back to India and getting our H1-B stamped on passport?
2)Do we have to file any other document with INS or other visa authority in USA for doing this status change?
3)How much time can we continue on L1/L2 status before switching on H1 status?
