We have filed the H1b petition in the month of May for my brother who is in Australia and completed his MS in Comp. We have received the approval notice but the problem over here is the concerned consulate is listed as Chennai instead of Melbourne which was preferred as chances of getting through Chennai is tough also he has to travel to india. On top of it we dont get a date before feb-march.
I want my brother to attend the H1b visa stamping from Melbourne but i am afraid with the chances of getting re-directed to chennai.
I would really appreciate any advice in this case.
