URGENT URGENT!! H1-B Transfer

Hi,
i recently accepted a new position with a new employer on H1 status, and committed to joining within a month. They recently filed for a transfer of my petition. I am reconsidering my move to the new employer due to personal issues. Is it ok to stay with the current employer even if the transfer petition is approved?
