Hi Friends,
I need a urgent help/suggestion from you. I have applied for H1B ,same is filed. I received a mail stating the below.
"On August 1, 2006, we transferred your I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER to an office in LINCOLN, NE for processing. That office has jurisdiction over the case. They will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office"
Again after few days, I received a mail stating that pettition is under processing and the mail says as below.
"On August 7, 2006, your I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER was received here for processing. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates"
But, after that there is no update and I am just thinking that, it is more than a month ,since my application transfered to local office(LINCOLN). When I discuss with few of friends, they are telling that, after transfering to local office, it won't take more than a week to get it approved/rejected.
Now I do not know, How to get the exact status. Is there a way to track or post a query to USCIS? Or any other suggestion which will be related to this will be of great help.
