I-797 Date of Birth and Job Title wrong - Please help !!!

Hi folks,

I have H1B appointment in New Delhi in last week of Sep. In my I-797 document sent by the employer, date of birth is wrong and also the job title given in one of the forms is "Systems Analyst" whereas in the letter sent by employer to USCIS during H-1 filing and in the offer letter, it is shown as "Oracle DBA".

I have informed the employer and he says he has filed the amendment with USCIS.

Please let me know if any of the above is issue in case i dont get amendment letter from employer before my appointment.

Does this effect on the visa chances?

Please guide me what the best can be done !

try to get the mail which ur employeer has send to USCIS....that will also do

and dont worry.....if u still dont get that letter tell the VO that these is a mistake and they will correct it.

Can you please tell me how did your interview went? I am in the same kind of situation where in my last name and middle initial are swapped on my I797. My employer filed an amendment and my interview is next month.
