Urgent: H4 Appointment Query

I am from Hyderabad and recently got married in Aug. Due to lack of available dates at Chennai, I got an appointment for my wife in Delhi for her H4 stamping. Can you let me know if I can she can go to Delhi, though we are from Hyderabad? Her appointments in a week. Please advise???

Are you working in USA now? Then, I guess it is not a problem. But, before taking the appointment, you should have contacted the consulate and get confirmation.

H4 Query

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I am currently employed in the U.S. Hopefully, she'll get through. I asked a few folks and they said it was going to be allright, but lately I am hearing that, there might be issues.

I heard from my friends that there is no issues on that but still if they dont accept they will try to divert it to Chennai consulate for which you dont have take another appointment but just walk into the consulate and get visa stamped.
