  • H1 B Question?

    Hello,

I got my H1 B approved for US.I'm worried my H1B can get rejected during interview process because my sisters are in the us since 1997. They went on H1 B and now they are permanent residence of US.

I wanted to know if this will have any impact on my H1B stamping.

Will it be legal if I don't mention about my relatives in documents?

    Please provide your response.

    H1 Visa

---- H1B is a dual intent visa, meaning that you can apply for your Green Card (GC) while on H1 in the US and at the same time continue working for th employer. The GC will be applied for by the employer as employment based GC

I wanted to know if this will have any impact on my H1B stamping.

---- Being dual intent it does not have any ipact on stamping

Will it be legal if I don't mention about my relatives in documents?

---- You have be honest, sincere and truthful. If you have one of your brother/sister/parents/children living in US say YES. If you say no it can be illegal at a later stage. There is no harm in saying YES, as the VO is not going to question on your intention to immigrate (despite your close relatives living in the US) since the H1 visa in itself is meant for that
