If i transfer my H1 from One Company to another, do i need to attend for Visa again? if i want to visit India..

If i transfer my H1 from One Company to another, do i need to attend for Visa again? if i want to visit India..

---- If you have a valid visa stamped on your Passport from the previous employer and you are transferring your H1 only then you do not need to
attend Visa stamping in India.

However, if you do not have a valid visa stamped on your Passport and you are visiting India (assuming you are an Indian Citizen) then you have to get a visa in a third country (either India, Canada, Mexico etc.) for entering back into US

Thanks for reply, what about dependents, wife and children. they already got H4 and waiting to come here. meanwhile i changed my employer.
they can travel on same visa? or any extra documents needed for them to travel?

---- OK, Do your dependents (wife and children) have an H4 approval notice or only H4 visa stamps on their respective Passports that are valid for the journey and entry to US

---- If you changed your employer then send them a copy of your I-797 (H1 approval notice). When they come to US at the POE let them show the valid
H4 visa stamp on thier respective Passports and the H1 approval notice, they will get a I-94 till the validity period of your I-797

Also, send them a letter from your employer that you are employed with the company by virtue of transfer and you are working from a start date of xxxxxx
