HI Visa Stamping

I have an appointment for H1 work visa stamping next month in Vancouver, Canada(Presently residing in US). I need to get a canadian VISA to make the appointment. How do I apply for the candian visa for only the appointment visit?

I have looked up their website and it talks about having an invitation letter from persons you are visiting? But I am not visiting anybody. I have tried calling the candian consulate in US and they do not respond. Is there a link where I can find all required information? or can you please let me know what are the requirements to apply for a Canadian visa to make an appointment for US work visa stamping?

You can apply via mail but it takes 2-3 weeks. I just got last month to visit US consulate in toronto.

You can just mention that you are going there for travel purpose , you don't need to have invitation letter.
