Salary less on offer letter?

Hi,

My petitioner has quoted 46K per annum as my salary apart from medical benefits and insurance for immediate family.

I am taking my family for their H4 (wife and daughter) along with me. Would the VO think that this is too less to support a family

It depends on where you are gonna live. One of the major expenses is your rent + utils. In a small Texas town, rents could be $400 for a 2 bedroom appt whereas in New York, it could be $2400. All depends on where you are gonna be working.
