H1B expired Feb 2005. Need to recapture how?

Hi all

I have previously worked in US on h1b and that status expired in Feb 2005. Since then I have been on EAD with pending AOS in EB3 category. Due to the changed circumstances at personal front I have to find a way to move back to H1 visa. What are the options available to me? I might be able to get 3-4 months of time for vacation time on the previous H1.
