hi to group

i have an appionment on 13th oct 06 at chennai counslate.one of a groupmember also having interview on samedate.he posted his info inthe forum saying that the 13th oct is govt holiday due to elections ,i findout information that the counslate doesnt have any holiday onoct13th(from counslate holiday list).but still iam in confusion .if any one provide info on this issue that wil be helpful for me.

i hav one more query regarding the appiontment reschdule. as i told u that i hav an ppiontment on oct 13th .itoday ichekup in vps web there are plenty of dates availble in oct,nov,dec .some 1 told me that in the month of dec the VO,s will have good plesure because of their ocations and new year mood ,so that is why they issue more visas then other months .

is this true ?can i change my appionment if dates avail in site. really can it work?
