  • Do I need H4 Visa Stamping again due to last name change?

I came to USA last year on H4 Visa (Expiring April 2007).

In my old passport (I got it before marraige): My name is as my maiden name (Dolly Desai)
I have got visa stamping (H4) on this passport, on visa stamp my name is also as my maiden name (Dolly Desai)

After coming to USA, I have applied for last name change due to marraige on passport in Indian Embassy (Sanfransisco, CA).
I have got new passport with new last name as Thakur (Dolly Thakur).

Now I am planning to visit India for a month (November 2006), and will be returing to USA on 6th December 2006.
    My questions are:
Do I need to have H4 visa stamping again on my new passport? Will there be any issue while coming back, if I don't correct my last name on visa stamping?

---- Carry both the Passports since one will have the Visa and the other will not. If the Visa and Passport are valid and unexpired, there should not be any issues. However, there is no need for a Visa just for a change of Passport
unless you have some other issues
