regarding Port Of Entry (POE) PLZ help.

Hi,

I recently got H1-B stamped.My employer's office is in Michigan state, do I need to enter through(POE) Detroit or will it be a problem if I get down @ Washington DC in my cousin's place.

You can arrive at Washington DC. If asked why you are not disembarking at Michigan, you can say that you are visiting your cousin for 2 days before starting work or you could say you are working offsite at Washington.
