I work for a big company here in east coast and i have my I-140 Cleared around 5 months back and my PD is September 2001 (EB3) and the current PD is in April 2001(as per latest visa bulletin) and i got my 7th year extension (expiring in July 2007). So i will have to wait for couple of months to apply for I-485. And recently my company announced lay-off of 4% of the total strength, So in that situation what will happen to my H1 Status and what all the things i should prepare interms of my legal status.
I appreciate your inputs on this that would be really greatful.
