Latest time frame for VFS Drop box - Hyd

Hello All,

I've got a 221 g on 27th at Chennai consulate. The VO returned all my documents and asked to use the dropbox to send them all the docs checked under 221g. My question now is that how long would it take after I drop my passport at the drop box? I might need the passport in a month, so should I drop my papers after one month?

I've read in this forum about the long wait times during the months of Jan-June2006. Has the wait time changed or is it the same thing now?

Please let me know what you think.

Plz respond to my query...If it takes longer, I am planning to apply for B1 through my company. I am concerned if one would clash with the other.
