Hello,
I need urgent help to the questions below :
1.I am in US now with I-94 status having H4 class of VISA and I also have H1B petition approved(i.e valid I-797).
2.While I was in India I had applied for my H1B petition but since it was delayed so I had to come with my wife on H4 VISA to US.
Can I apply for SSN and start working?
Do I need to AMEND I-94 status for work and to get SSN?
How soon can I start working
