    Work permit for H4 visa

    Arriving in US in September 06 with H4 visa, I have already found several interesting job opportunities. But when the employers learn about my visa status they are no interested to provide me the sponsorship. Can you advise if there is any possibility for me to change my visa status or to obtain the work permit without any sponsorship?

    H4 cannot work. Not for pay, not even voluntary. Cannot start business. The only legal way of earning money is through stock investments.

      H4 person can NOT work for compensation.
