1) I and my wife have independent H1 from different companies.
2) My H1 is expiring in Feb 2007. My current company is not willing to extend
my visa. Another company is filing my H1.
3) My question is if My H1 through new company is not approved, will I be out of status after my old H1 expires in Feb? Or I can be automatically treated as on H4 of my wife? If not, is this a good idea to watch till the last moment of expiry of old H1 and if I still don't get new H1 approval, apply for H4 on my wife before the expiry of old H1?
