Lay off and H1 Transfer in 7th Year

Hi,
I am in 7th yr of my H1.
My H1 is valid till June 07.
GC yet to be approved.
There are layoffs in my company.
Can someone please tell me whether i can transfer my H1 if get Sacked.

Ask your company guys if they are moving the company offshore. If they are then you can negotiate with them to promote you to a high level position in the company offshore since you know the busines well. Some of my friends did that and they now get a salary in India almost equivalent of what they used to get here.
