travel after I-94 expiry more than 6 months , extension pending with USCIS

hi,

Spouse I-94 date and visa expired more than 6 months back, extension was applied before the expiry but the case is pending with USCIS as they asked for additional information which was submitted. Traveling to India for a vacation, will there be any issues during departure and visa stamping for reentry to USA.

Did anyone travel under this situation? Any advice on this matter will be appreciated.
