221(G) - pink color - please help
Hi,
I had gone to the chennai consulate for H1B stamping, the consular officer asked me few questions and then said that my visa would be approved....he said you can go home....I received my passport few days later in which the visa was NOT stamped. There was a pink color 221(G) form. It was written that my case is under Additional Administrative processing. They have not mentioned that they need any particular documents. they have asked me to check the status of my case in the US chennai consulate website.
1) Any idea why has this happened? when I asked some ppl. they said it was
2) b'cos of the name (I am a muslim).They would check with the security team and respond
