I am currently on H1B status (started in Oct'06, was on F1 until then) having completed an MS in the US. I am currently pursuing a second Master's (just need to defend my thesis) from the same US institution as my first MS. For dates of attendance for my second Master's in Q17 in DS157, do I mention the end date as "present" (as I am left with my defense) even though I am on H1B status or mention the end date as Dec'06 which was the last quarter I had registered. NOTE: For Q33 in DS156 I have answered 'NO'. Please reply!

the date of attendance should be the date when you get your degree. since you don't have your degree you should say it as present. -

Thanks for your reply. Then what should I mention for Q33 in DS156 - Do you intend to study in the US? Should I say YES as I am yet to defend my thesis even though I am currently on H1B or should I say NO (which is kind of contradictory to the situation).Comment
