Should I worry?

Hi Ppl,

I recently got my H1B visa stamped from the Chennai consulate. On the visa, they have swapped my given name and surname(name is spelt correctly but order is wrong) as there is no distinction of surname and given name on my passport. I have got an endorsement from the passport office clarifying my Given name and Surname, but as I am travelling soon I do not have sufficient time to get it corrected on my visa. All my petition-related documents have the correct order of name.

Will I have problems at the Port of Entry regarding mismatch of name on my passport (endorsement) and visa? Anyone having similar experiences in the past, please guide.

definitely you will be having issues, please make sure the names are correct.. give a call to chennai consulate and get more information
