Travel to India while H1 and I-94 gets expire

Hi Friends,

I am on H1B, my petetion and H1B visa are getting expired in 15th Jul'07 and I-94 is getting expired on 25th Jul'07. I am planning to go to India on 9th Feb'07 and come back on 6th Mar'07.

My questions are:

1). During re-entry into USA, will there be any problems as I will have just 4months valid Visa?
2). I am planning to apply for H1B/I-94 Visa extension only after India trip, means, 4months before expiry. Is that sufficient time?

Please suggest me what is the best solution.
