H1 visa changes due to company split..Mr Subramanya please

Hi,
I currently work for X division in company Y. However, today the CEO announced that company X will be formed, and company Y will also be present. How will this affect my H1 visa which is currently stamped for company Y. I am working currently in X division which is to become a new company.

Please let me know if I need to re-stamp my visa for company X, which will be created in 6 to 9 months?

---- If there is no change in employment details, terms and conditions, the employer will have to apply for an amendment for the change in name, address and location of the company while ensuring that your status is retained

---- There is no need for you to get a Visa affixed on your Passport in this regard. If you wish to travel carry the legal document of changeover (a notarized copy from the company will suffice for this purpose)

---- Further please clarify with an immigration attorney regarding the specifics of the case and act accordingly
