Query 221(g)

Hello,

I have attended visa interview for H1 on 19th july in mumbai consulate and got the 221(g) for additional administrative processing.

I have been contacting mumbai consulate since then but I get same reply that consulte is processing your visa and they will let me know once they are done.

Its been almost 7 months now and I m not sure wheher to apply for fresh quota or not?
Can someone tell me where I can get status of my case?
