I-290B appeal for H1b extension

Hi Everyone,

I applied for H1b extension with another company.USCIS asked for RFE for couple of times and denied the visa.USCIS sent I-290B appeal form to appeal the Director ,AAU Washington D.C Does anyone has any idea about appeal to the AAU and How long does it take to grant the Visa or to deny the Visa.

Any info regarding this is greatly appreciated.

Appeals take a long time and can go for up to 1 year. You will be gathering unauthorized presence if denied for the entire period and are not allowed to work during the appeal process. Quite risky if you were to ask me. If approved, all is fine!
