Hi All,
I am kinda new to this forum...here is the situation. I am applying for H1B in April 2007 through a US based IT consulting firm.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering from a U.S university. In addition, I have 1 year of U.S (Optional Practical Training) + 8 months Canadian experience as a Business Systems Analyst and have done below mentioned IT related courses from a community college in Canada.
1. Managing IT Projects
2. ASP.NET
3. Intro to Database Concepts
4. Systems Analysis - I
5. Intro to Java using IBM Websphere.........
6. Higher Level Languages ( C++)
I was wondering if I qualify for H1's since I only have B.S and this courses are not from university curriculum.
My Engineering curriculum did not consists of many IT related courses except 2 or 3. ( Operations Research I & II, Digital Simulation)
I hope I made sense...I am really confused
Please suggest.
Thanks
Sean
