Hello,
I am working for an Indian company at a client loacation in U.S for last 3 years on H1B visa. My visa recently got expired and my company filed a petition for extension which has been approved. I am planning to visit India next month to get my visa stamped. While filling the documents for visa stamping, I came a cross a question which asks if I have my spouse, sister etc living is U.S?
My wife is a green card holder and we got married recently here in U.S. She has not filed for my green card yet.
Will her resident status cause any problem for my H1B visa stamping? Is there a possibility of my visa getting rejected because the consulate might think that I may have intentions of not coming back to India?
Thanks a lot for your help.
