Potential pblms for H4 when you file for GC?

Hi all,

I am on H1. Soon planning to file GC under EB1.
Need to bring my better half here on H4 soon.
So, I have following questions on this whole H1/H4/GC business

1) Any potential pblms in getting H4 for her because I filed for GC?
2) Does it matter if
a) I file for my GC alone, then request her H4 when needed (and then added her into my GC app).
b) I file for my as well as her GC, then request her H4
H4 requests will be made well before I get GC or the first stage under EB1 is cleared.
3) any other things I need to consider. suggestions/comments welcome.
