Query about H4 processing

Hello All,
Let me explain the situation first. My husband is now in the US. He has applied for H1B extension . He has already got his I797C notice of action. He is now waiting for his I129.

MY queries are these .

1. In the website, it is mentioned have that he should be having a VALID visa . Does that mean that I will have to wait for my husband to come to India for his Visa stamping and only then I can go for my H4 ?

2. How many months of payslips will I have to carry with me ?

3. Will he have to send all original documents or can I just take print outs of the scanned copies and carry them for the interview ?

1. No, just valid H1 extension is good.
2. Last 3 or 4 is good.
