H4 VISA apponitment query

Hi...Im getting married on August 10th and my fiancee is on an H1. i would like to know if I can fix the VISA interview date now or do i HAVE to wait till AFTER teh marrige to do so. needless to say, I will take an interview date AFTER the wedding so I have the reqd docs with me.

---- Yes, you can take the appointment for your Visa interview now, but you may have to wait till the appointment dates open up for August as it is too early in teh year for that. However, you can try and keep visiting the website for an update on the dates for appointment
