transfer of H1 and going to India

I am getting my H1 transferred to another company, while my current H1 is valid till sept 2007. As per the attorney, the process would complete by April.
My wife who is on H4 is travelling to India in May for 3 weeks. Can she travel to India with H4 stamping on her passport having my old company Petition details , while my H1 is transferred to another company.

H4 and Travel

---- Travelling out of US is never an issue on H4. She can always do that even while you ar not transferring your H1
