Concerns: Restamping because of Employer Change Required!

Hi Friends,

- I have visa stamp (from previous employer) & I-94 until May 2007
- I changed job to new employer in Aug 2006 and have valid petition from him
- Now my wife (she is on h4) wants to go to India from Mar 2007 to Aug 2007

- So I believe we (both myself & my wife) need to get our new visa stamped?

- Should I go to Mexico or Canada?

- Can visa be refused?

- Lets say I go to Mexico in March '07 and the Visa gets refused - Can we renter US based on previous employer visa stamp & I-94 valid until May 2007 OR Do I need to go back to my home counrty from Mexico?

- Do I get the stamped passport back the same day in Mexico?

---- Yes, if you want to return to the US after May 2007 you need a Vis on your Passports

- Should I go to Mexico or Canada?

---- That is your decision

- Can visa be refused?

---- No speculation. It depends on the presentation of your documents and a host of other factors

---- NO, you are not permitted to enter US

- Do I get the stamped passport back the same day in Mexico?

---- Yes
