Hi,

I have a small doubt....

Is it possible for an individual to have H1 and H4 status at the same point of time? Does the Law permit to have both the visas?

This is urgent.

I think you can only have onse status a time. When you stamp your new visa on the passport the current one is cancelled. Plz give little more background on ur case. But you can have H1 approval notice while you are on H4 if thats what you are wanting to know. Then on H4 you could file change of status and convert to H1.
