H1 6th year, job change - Urgent Help
Hi
I am currently in my 6th year of H1 Visa which is expiring in mid-May. I have labour approved and I 140 approved. I have copies of both the documents.
Recently I got an offer from another company. The company's immigration department says that I will get 3 year extension and can even carry my earlier priority date for GC processing. How far is this statement correct?
Are there risks involved in chaging jobs or with H1 transfer ? Would I get only one year extension or 3 year extension based on my earlier I140 approval.
I appreciate your responses and wise bites. Pls reply soon as I have to send an answer to new company and provide a notice in old company asap.
