Hi,
I am currently working for my employer A on L1B visa.
Another organisation B wants to apply for my H1B.
But I have asked them to apply without change of status so that I am not forced quit my current employer by October and I have enough time to step out and join the company B.
Please let me know if
1. After my H1B is approved, I can continue to work on L1 with employer A as long as I dont apply for change of status.
2. Is there any time limit for me after the H1 is approved to get my status changed to H1B.
3. What is the process for getting the status changed.
4. After I apply for status changed and before the status is changed and after I quit my current employer, is it legal to be in US.
Would be really helpful if I get to know the answers for these questions.
