I am schedule for H1 transfer in July 2007. My current H1 is expiring in June 2007. My current employer has filed for an extension. Also my I-94 is valid till June 2007. Once I get an extension, do I need to go out of the country to get a new stamping in my passport before I do the H1 transfer in July 2007 ?
Since it is one month difference between renewal and transfer, is it required to update the visa stamping on the passport too, before transfer is applied ?
