Hi,
I have left US one year before my 6 year H1 term got over and I came to canada.
Now If I apply for a new H1, will I get 6 year fresh H1 or 1 year ( remaining from my previous
6 year term)???
Also, I read somewhere I should stay atleast one year out of US before applying for new H1. Does this mean I cannot EVEN APPLY before 1 year or just that i cannot enter back into US. for example, if my current H1 expires in Oct 07, does it mean i cannot apply before Oct 08 and I have to wait until Oct 09 to start work on new H1 again?
